Wow....here it is a New Year and my sale is over, Christmas is over and all the celebrating is done! The last time I posted I was getting ready for my big Christmas Goose sale, which by the way went very well for me this year. I wasn't going to do it again, but once again I am preparing for what to make next year!
I had a very busy few weeks after the sale....buying gifts, wrapping. As usual, I didn't think I would get it all done...but I did..YEAH! We were at our daughter's home for Christmas Eve. On Christmas we went to church then came home and prepared dinner for the afternoon when Rhonda, Brian and the girls came, opened gifts then ate our meal.
The day after Christmas Will and I took off for a quick trip to Coos Bay to see our grandson, Shane, before he left for Missouri to Whitman AFB where he will be stationed. It was good to see him! We were there on Sunday to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary..then came home on Monday. Like I said, it was a short trip!
Yesterday was New Year's Eve so had Brian, Rhonda and the girls over for pizza and snacks...and some fun card games...and Apples to Apples. Saw the new year in...then today was a quiet day. Have done nothing eventful. Just trying to go through some of my "junk" which I have plenty of and often find hard to part with! I guess I have to much of my Mother in me. I always think..someday I may need that!!! And nine times out of ten I do...someday!! Of course, there are lots of things I have but don't know where they are!!! LOL
Will is now officially retired (from his temporary job with PG&E) so now have to adapt to him being home every day. I did enjoy my alone time during the day but there are pluses to it too. He can take the girls to school...run errands for me, etc. It will all work out I am sure.
All in all....we are have been very blessed this past year. Brian had his scan and all came out clear! He doesn't have to have another one for 6 months. We are in good health so can't complain. I pray this next year will be a good one for all of us. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have taken a few pics of my home decorated for Christmas.
